The conference is organize due to the necessity of creating a permanent information platform for discussion of the mineral resources of Chukotka and the results of its implementation of projects for both existing companies and new investors, a broader dialogue and coordination between state Federal and regional structures, companies subsoil users, experts, and service and consulting companies.

The main objective of the conference is to gather and organize discussion projects by all structures, regardless of their organizational forms both public and private, involved in the development of the mining industry of Chukotka Autonomous Region adjacent shelf, for wider attracting new private investment to the region and adjacent waters, reduction (optimization) and localization of directions of Federal funds to conduct geological exploration and replenishment of the mineral resource base in Chukotka, includes Territories of Advanced Development projects implemented in the short and medium term.

In the framework of presentations at the conference will discuss the main results of implementation of the program of development of Chukotka for the development of mineral resources base, development of projects of Territories of Advanced Development, the results and plans the company to conduct further exploration and production of minerals on land and offshore, developing projects difficulties in their implementation, found and recommended solutions, new methods of research on land and offshore, environmental aspects of working in Arctic and sub-Arctic conditions.
